7 Days Machame Route

The Machame is a stunning and well-traveled road.
The tortuous route ascends Kilimanjaro’s southwest flank before turning north to approach the summit. It then turns east beneath the shadow of Kibo Peak.
The view is magnificent and spectacular.
Also, it has a high summit success rate due to the favorable acclimatization profile

8 Days Rongai Route

The Kilimanjaro’s northern slope is ascensed via the peaceful Rongai path.
It provides stunning scenery and the opportunity to see big game in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park.
Also nearby is the lovely Mawenzi Peak.
This path doesn’t have any really steep sections, which is appealing to some people.
You may take in the views on that side as well because you are descending the mountain’s southern slope.

6 Days Marangu route

Take on the challenge of scaling Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, and experience Africa’s rooftop with the leading sustainable travel agency in the area. The Coca-Cola route, also known as the Marangu route for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, is more well-liked because it requires less days to complete and features permanent sleep shelters at the campsites. The ascent night from Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak is steep and goes via Gilman’s Point.

6 Days Shira Route

Mount Kilimanjaro Ascent The Shira route is almost the same as the Lemosho route, and it approaches Kilimanjaro from the west. Actually, Lemosho is the enhanced version of the Shira route, which was the original. The Shira route avoids this trip by utilizing a vehicle to transfer climbers to Shira Gate, which is located near the Shira Ridge, whereas Lemosho begins at Londorossi Gate and hikes through the rain forest to Shira 1 Camp.

9 Days Umbwe Route

When it comes to the shortest path to the summit of Kilimanjaro, that is the Umbwe route. As a result, the daily increase in height is quite large. You ascend sharply through the valley and reach the summit straight away. This route is also called the “Double Whiskey Route” since it is so strenuous and requires a lot of your body. Climbers who have already reached a similar altitude and are familiar with their body’s response to such a drastic elevation gain should not attempt the Umbwe route.

8 Days Lemosho Route

One of our favorite ascent routes to Mount Kilimanjaro is the Lemosho because of the variety and stunning surroundings.
Due to its excellent acclimatisation profile, it also has a high summit success rate.
The route climbs the western slope before skirting the peak’s southern edge to reach it from the east.
You move down the slope to the southeast.
A fantastic route to the “top of Africa” is the Lemosho!
